Enriched Air Nitrox Course
The Enriched Air Nitrox course means that you can go stay underwater for longer, ideal if your planning on diving wrecks such as the Thistlegorm or wish to stay around to watch the sea-life. If you're planning on doing several dives in a day or over your holiday, Nitrox makes you feel a lot less tired, just ask any dive guide or instructor!
On completion of the Nitrox course you will be awarded with a PADI enriched air diver certification card allowing you to use Nitrox worldwide.
To qualify as an Enriched Air Nitrox Diver you must be at least 15 years old and possess a PADI Open Water diver certification or equivalent.
You can complete the theory in your own time with the E-learning course, or with an instructor in the classroom.
At the end of the course you will be qualified to calculate the correct gas blend for your planned depth to increase your no-decompression limit, obtain and analyze Nitrox with an O2 content of 22-40%, calculate your O2 exposure and repetitive pressure groups and understand the theoretical and operational considerations for nitrox diving
You can then choose to practice your new skills with us by completing 2 open water dives either in the UK or on one of our group trips.
