Where We Teach

The Rescue Diver is one of the most enjoyable courses you will undertake and is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. As a rescue diver you will learn to look beyond yourself to consider the safety and well-being of other divers. The course readies you to help prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies using a variety of techniques. The course is great fun and will significantly build your confidence as a diver!

We advise all divers reach Rescue Diver level, in the unlikely case of a problem wouldn’t you rather be able to help your buddy? Wouldn’t you rather your buddy be able to help you in a similar situation?

Before you commence the course you are required to have completed a minimum of 25 logged dives and the Emergency First Response course or similar recognised first aid course.

The course is split into 3 sections; theory, pool skills and open water. You can choose to do all 3 sections in the UK or if you prefer you can do the theory and pool sections with us and complete the open water training dives abroad. If you prefer to do the dives abroad our travel centre would be happy to provide you with a quote for flights, accommodation, transfers and diving.
